Steve has been an inspiration for us in the River Runner community. He has brought us many fine days on the water as our best kayak surfer. A number of us were present as he competed at the World Kayak Championship in the Outer Banks, North Carolina.

After Steve's accident, we talked with Julie and Steve and found out that he was enjoying benefits from his water therapy. When we found out that not all of his sessions were covered by his insurance we saw an opportunity to Challenge our community to fill this specific need in his therapy. Please consider donating to this event for Steve directly or by buying a ticket for the Steve Shope Summer Concert.

The River Runners are a community of athletes, friends and family that challenge their bodies, minds and collective spirit to do what needs to be done. Like us on FaceBook:

On behalf of the Trail to Recovery Fund, Team Shope would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the generosity, compassion and commitment of family, friends and businesses within the Seacoast and beyond. Your continued support and contribution to Steve's recovery is immeasurable and we sincerely thank you.
