About the Trail to Recovery Fund

The Trail to Recovery Fund was created to assist Steve Shope and his family, residents of Newfields, NH, with the astronomical cost of spinal cord injuries (SCI). Steve was hurt on April 26th while mountain biking, incurring a severe injury to his cervical vertebrae and spinal cord. Family, friends, and the local community have rallied in support of the Shope family, including the formation of the Trail to Recovery fund.
